choir link for web page

beginning life in 2011 as the Sydney Italian Women's choir (but soon finding that it was fine to not be Italian nor a woman to join), this very jolly choir is un-auditioned, and boasts members from all walks of life and levels of singing experience. We rehearse onThursday nights from 7 PM to 9 PM and fees are $160.00 per 10 week term, plus 2 tins of peeled tomatos per person on the first night of every new term (these get turned into our delicious own brand "pummarola" which is then sold at concerts in order to raise funds both for the choir and for local charities in need of assistance.

Put together by Chris Davis, secretary of Parkinsons NSW, and lead by Nadia Piave, Parkinsong! is a choir that works on restoring and maintaining vocal function in people with Parkinsons while creating a social environment of fun and support, and a musical and drammatic creative outlet for people with Parkinsons.
